Moneky Bug...Spins????

Its been a long time since I have done a blog post on here. I am still knitting a lot. I have also learned how to crochet. Even made a blanket for my new nephew to be :) I am doing a lot of spinning lately though. I even got a new wheel a hitchhiker. Which is currently torn apart and on my kitchen table about to be beautified :) I'm going to be doing an Alice in Wonderland theme on her. Her name is Alisi which means Grandmother in Cherokee. I'm spinning up some wonderful fiber I got at the Black Swamp spinners Market day last year. Its so soft and squishy I wish I could remember what it was. I'm pretty sure there is some angora in there though. Market day is the month so I'm going to spend the day in BG with lots of like minded people. :) ♥♥ I'm very excited for it again. This will be my 3rd year going :)

Ok, On to the things I am working on knitting (and one crochet project) and about where I am at in them

My Boathouse Sweater: I love this sweater but would really like it to be done already. I'm about 75% done and my goal is before market day to have it done so I can wear it :)

Harmonie socks: I Love this pattern for socks. It is my go to pattern. I'm almost to the toe on the first pair. I will be making a lot of these...At least two more pair since I have bought some really cool shoes for my knitted socks :)

Owl for Monkey: She picked to colors blues, greens and purples. Super cute. This is the 2nd one I have made and have been asked to make one more soon. I'm about 40% done with this one.

As always I have my Beekeepers Quilt and Mitered Square blanket that are never ending. I really think they will Graduation Presents for my girls who are 2.5 (Monkey) and 5 (Bug). LOL...

I am also going to be starting a BIG crochet project after I finish my sweater. I want to crochet My Daddy a big blanket for his house. I have the yarn picked out and here. I got a box full on KnitPicks Brava in reds, blues, greens, grays and White will be the boarder :) It will be Granny squares and a lot of them :)
