I was driving home from picking up Bug at preschool and I happened to see a dandelion field. It got me to remembering my grandma's fried dandelions. They were so yummy and I always got to pick the flowers for her. I decided today would be the perfect day to introduce Bug to this tradition :) I gave her a basket and sent her out in our back yard to pick the flowers :) We pick just the head of the flower (we pick about 30 flowers), rinse them, dip in egg, then cover in Bisquick (you can use flour but I think the bisquick is MUCH better) then fry in oil till brown on both sides.
The end result :) Happy memories made and reminders of the passed and how much Gram is missed!
